Corporation Google is constantly working on creating Android products tailored for a variety of tasks and purposes, and most of them almost immediately break into the leaders of their segment, leaving less functional offers far behind. Apparently, a similar story will happen with the tool Files Go , which is declared in the category of file managers.

This product was developed under the conditions of an experiment on the release of budget Android devices by the software giant for the markets of developing countries, whose residents are simply not able to pay several hundred dollars for the opportunity to use a modern device. Given the premise of the appearance of Files Go from Google, it is quite logical that the application weighs about 10 MB, and copes with the task at the speed of a jet rocket.

After starting the program, the user will see the main menu, which consists of only two main sections – “Files” and “Storage”. The second section is used to view information about the presence of free memory on the gadget, and if it is scarce, you can free “memory” from unnecessary trash in just a few touches – clean the cache left from the work of applications, delete installation files, duplicates, programs that have not been used for a long time, and so on. . Moreover, the Files Go utility does nothing without the user’s permission – it only shows him a list of data that you can easily say goodbye to, and the main decision remains, of course, with the owner of the Android device.

In the “Files” section, in horizontally arranged tabs, there are all user data – photos, videos, music, recordings from a voice recorder, etc., and you can configure the display in the form of thumbnails or tiles. By selecting a file, the user will be able to open the context menu, where a whole list of actions is available, for example, you can rename, delete, transfer, move, copy, cut, open file properties – if you use a PC, then you probably know all these steps and actions.
