Samsung Print Service Plugin

Samsung Print Service Module is a system utility designed to remotely – from a phone to a printer, via the Internet or Wi-Fi – transfer for printing, for example, photos, documents, web pages, receipts, coupons or other files. The utility supports Mopria technology, which means that you can send print materials from your phone to all modern printers: Samsung, Toshiba, Cannon, Dell, HP, Fuji Xerox, Kyocera, Pontum, Ricoh.

In addition to your own printout, you can set such parameters as the number of copies, paper orientation, duplex printing, color, font, intervals from the utility. You can also control the printing process in real time from the utility.

How does it work?1) The Samsung Print Service Plug-in utility is installed on any smart devices running Android 4.4 (Kit Kat) and higher.2) This utility is installed on Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets already preinstalled.

In the first case: in order to send files for printing:

1. enter the file manager or one of the applications, for example, Dropbox, Disk, Chrome, Excel;
2. in the menu, select the operation “Share” or “Print”;
3. set the parameters for printing files,
4. monitor the process.

In the second case: in order to activate the utility:

1. enter the phone settings,
2. enable the appropriate Samsung Print Service module.
