Fantastic Beasts is a game based on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J.K. Rowling, a required reading for first-year students at Hogwarts School of Magic in Care of Magical Creatures.
The book was written in the name of a fictional author, Newton Salamander. Newton described in the book the mythical creatures that live in the world of Harry Potter, there are more than 75 types of them. The book also describes the reasons why fantastic creatures hide from Muggles – ordinary people. In the book, Newton also gave definitions of what magical beasts and fantastic creatures are, and what is the difference between them.
