Google VR Services is a utility application required to connect peripheral equipment – virtual reality glasses – to a smartphone in games such as Daydream and Cardboard.
The Google VR Services application also displays pop-up system and playful notifications on the screen of virtual reality glasses, and synchronizes the operation of the entire game architecture:
- virtual reality glasses,
- third-party controllers,
- headphones,
- smartphone.
Note: If you uninstall the Google VR Services app from your phone, Daydream and Cardboard games will not be able to play in VR.
