Storage Isolation

Storage Isolation is an assistant in putting things in order in the file system, which allocates a strictly allotted space (folders) for the installed applications to store data. Surely, many of you have noticed that after installing programs, a lot of new objects appear in the storage, which is understandable, because applications need to store their data somewhere.

Only sometimes, bypassing the recommendations of the creators of the Android platform, this is done not in a repository specially allocated for these needs, but randomly. Therefore, even after the removal of the product, unnecessary “junk” remains, which not only takes up space in memory, but also poses a threat to confidentiality. So, with the help of the utility, the user takes control of this process, defining its own isolated storage for each installed product.

To use the functionality of Storage Isolation, “superuser” rights are required. After launching the manager, it remains to mark those programs whose files the user wants to concentrate in one place, not allowing the creation of separate “containers” throughout the file system.
