Cats are Liquid is a two-dimensional platformer with physics puzzle elements that will tell users the story of rescuing a spherical cat, locked according to the plot by its owner in a hotel room (although the locations do not resemble anything like that). But can a closed door stop a furry character’s craving for freedom? After all, it is known that cats, like water, are able to sneak into any cracks and spaces, if the head passes, everything else will pass. It is this feature of furry pets that is used in the mechanics of this fascinating arcade game.

The main advantage of the project Cats are Liquid is its unusual design – the white character himself is depicted in the form of a meowing shining ball, and the locations are a set of all kinds of platforms, partitions, ascents and descents, sharp spikes that are mortally dangerous for the character. Immediately after the start, the user is introduced through text inserts to the story of the main character and his ability to climb high sheer walls and get through even the narrowest cracks.

The gamer will control the cat in Cats are Liquid using four improvised arrows – elements on the left side move the hero forward or backward, on the right side they allow him to jump and shrink to an almost flat state. The user’s task is to go through small levels-rooms, trying to get to the treasured door, saving the ward at least one life (there are three in total). Jump, climb walls, overcome dynamic objects, seep like liquid into the narrowest cracks, use miniature explosives to destroy the most durable barriers – guide the cat through all the rooms and help him achieve freedom.
