You can periodically add new characters to your squad, upgrade available weapons or buy new samples to eliminate the threat, both from zombies and marauders. Naturally, as you move deeper into the plot, you will have to pay more and more amounts, and the complexity will increase many times over, coming close to the hardcore mark.
