Gameplay. The player, as the commander of the Galactica star cruiser, must guide a fleet of spaceships, with the remnants of humanity on board, through the unexplored expanse of space. The goal is to find a new home for earthlings. During this fatal expedition, earthling spaceships are constantly attacking the Cylons – these are representatives of a cybernetic and very aggressive civilization – machines that never sleep. It is worth the player only for a moment to lose vigilance, and it is not he who will be at risk, but the race of people, which will simply cease to exist.

In Battlestar Galactica: Squadron you have to:

1. Fight against endless waves of attacking Cylons – brutal machines that seek to destroy you;
2. Build many and different combat spaceships based on designs – artifacts – found aboard the Galactica star cruiser;
3. Transform your own expedition ship – a rarity – into a high-tech flying battle fortress. To do this, you must use the trophies obtained in battles with the Cylons;
4. Avoid direct collision with the enemy – use spatial transitions;
5. And finally: just try to invest as long as possible, until you find a new cradle of humanity – a planet natural for the life of earthlings.
