Not a happy prospect, what can I say! But the protagonist of the runner Crazy Grandpa from the ICLOUDZONE INC studio does not intend to spend the rest of his days in such despondency, for which he should be given credit and kindly envied. Even with rheumatism and joint pain, he borrows a skateboard from his grandson and sets off on a trip around his hometown, surprising passers-by and scaring motorists, rushing almost close to their vehicles.

Unusual for this genre, the protagonist – only this distinguishes Crazy Grandpa from his many brothers, who tirelessly “storm” the expanses of Google Play. Otherwise, this is an ordinary runner, the control of which is evenly divided between the accelerometer of a mobile Android device, as well as the usual swipes and taps. Using the accelerometer, the main character moves from side to side, and by touching the screen at the right time, the gamer helps the elderly character jump over obstacles or slide under them. The role of obstacles is performed by cars, traffic cones, inattentive pedestrians, and so on. A nice bonus is the ability to dress up your ward in cool accessories, this somehow helps to diversify the gameplay.

There is no division into levels in the game Crazy Grandpa as such – the longer you go the distance, the more final points you will earn, and this result will be included in the global rating. A special counter located at the top of the screen helps to assess the distance traveled, there they also “loom” and the lives left by the crazy grandfather in the form of hearts, there are three in total, as soon as they are all used, the game will end. During the gameplay, a melody sounds in the background, but it is so intrusive that almost immediately it makes you want to reduce it to a minimum or turn it off altogether. So, this project, unfortunately, is not able to claim the title of the best runner, but in order to spend a free moment, it will do just fine.
