What is Dino T-Rex?
Dino T-Rex — A primitive timekiller about how a dinosaur runs through the desert. The hero of the game is the Gigantosaurus – the ancestor of the Tyrannosaurus: a lizard, a predator moving on two legs.
A dinosaur runs through the desert without a goal – the process is important for him. The task of the dinosaur is to run as far as possible. Cacti and loose sand prevent the dinosaur from running. The player helps the dinosaur avoid obstacles. The player manipulates the dinosaur using gestures and clicks on the screen.
The game process has levels of difficulty: the further the dinosaur advances into the sands, the more difficult it becomes for the player to continue this prehistoric run.
So that nothing distracts the player from the running of the dinosaur, the game is implemented in a minimalistic style:
- monochrome image,
- pixel graphics,
- computer polyphony as musical accompaniment.
