Shark – a cold look of glass eyes, ruthlessness and fearlessness, lightning speed and appearance that has remained unchanged throughout the evolutionary period – perhaps you will not find a person who would not experience fear and horror even about one mention of sea predator. Fortunately, the Hungry Shark World project does not offer the player to act as a victim, on the contrary, he will have to try his hand at being in the “skin” of a merciless killer, terrorizing the inhabitants of his endless hunting grounds. The main task is to systematically go through all the missions, score the maximum number of points and, ideally, lead the global rating, becoming an invincible underwater “terminator”.
There are a large number of sharks in the arcade, and each species is endowed with its own skills, individual appearance, size and other features. At the start, do not hope that you can play with any instance – the characters open gradually, depending on the success, experience gained and the number of points scored. Each characteristic of the shark is subject to modernization, and it is in the interests of the gamer to achieve maximum performance.
The control system is implemented simply – with the help of one finger the course of the shark is changed, and the second finger should be used when attacking, diving, ascent and other virtuoso maneuvers. The main requirement is not to reset the life indicator of the ward, otherwise, she will die. How to prevent such a sad end? Eat all the fish that are in your path, dodge harpoons and nets, move away from the ink spot released by the squid, accelerate when you see a stronger enemy that you cannot cope with in a direct collision. And in general, the game is full of moments that can easily destroy the illusory idyll of calmness and impunity!
Graphically, the Hungry Shark World project looks nice – a detailed environment, colorful flocks of fish rushing past, smooth movements of the protagonist. And the special effects are completely worthy of comparison with the console level – the victims tremble in agony, bleed, flying apart after meeting with massive jaws, silently praying for salvation. But the gameplay is still at the forefront of this new product – a huge number of diverse tasks of increasing complexity, a solid package of characters and locations to be opened step by step, fine-tuning of the protagonists and an affordable entry threshold. Each gamer is free to choose his own game rhythm – a couple of minutes for a short game, or several hours for the passage of the entire storyline.
