The novelty is able to boast an interesting decor of gaming locations, full-fledged 3D graphics in a concise style, smooth animation and atmospheric background audio. The basis of the gameplay is made up of such senses as hearing and lightning-fast response to the ever-changing gameplay conditions. The “highlight” of the arcade Dancing Line is the aspect that it is the music that is paramount, in other words, the gameplay and the plot are adjusted to it, not vice versa, as is done in other arcades.

The hero of this masterpiece is a miniature cube, leaving behind a snake-like trail that moves along a winding track located above a bottomless abyss. From time to time, small structures appear along the edges of the path, direct contact with which is deadly for the character. The cube is able to overcome low objects by jumping, but the rest will have to deftly go around, moving further and further through the bewitching and hostile game world.

Taking into account that each level in Dancing Line corresponds to a certain musical composition that does not change during the repeated passage of the stage, we have a chance, by repeatedly memorizing the route, to remember its features and the location of obstacles along the way – as a result, the next a record result will not be long in coming, subject to the perseverance and determination of the gamer. Some obstacles on the track appear as the character approaches them, which causes problems and adds a surprise effect. We must pay tribute to the authors of the project for the perfect balance, which sometimes allows you to go through the levels even in the blind, unless, of course, the user has a perfect sense of rhythm and tact.

The Dancing Line project is distributed under the free model, and if you overcome each stage on the first try, there are no problems. But when it takes more than one character to do this, then when their stock is completely reset, you either have to wait a long time for their automatic resurrection, or spend real money on buying new cubes, or watch advertising packages. In general, we have a classic timekiller with a gradual increase in the complexity of the stages right up to hardcore, which will appeal to gamers who love games that are not burdened with a plot, in which you can “stick” at any free moment.
