At the bottom: a simulator – a guide to the life story of Dasha Sharazhkina. (Not to be confused with Diana Shurygina)
Dasha Sharazhkina is a fictional character of an underage girl who experienced a real story – she became a victim of sexual violence.
Dasha found the strength to take part in the popular television program “Let them talk”, in which she spoke about all the circumstances of what happened to her: the atmosphere in the family – how trusting Dasha’s relationship with family members was; Dasha’s friends – what they do, what they are fond of; relationships with young people; the fact of sexual violence itself. The way Dasha survived the physical humiliation. Where did she find the strength to tell about what happened to her. And what conclusion follows from this story.
A school party, meeting young people, dubious offers to which inexperienced girls do not know how to react, seclusion with a young man and meeting with a rapist, violence itself – loneliness and fear of both the rapist and parents and society – this is the standard situation. in which most modern girls find themselves.
How to behave? Where to look for help? How to behave in case of an undesirable development of an event at parties or when meeting young people – all these complex questions are implemented in the format of an interactive game in which the player gives his own answers to the questions asked. The internal logic of the questions is borrowed from thousands of life stories – conditional Dasha Sharazhkina. The proposed answers assume the player has a sense of humor. Questions about the knowledge of the life history of Dasha Sharazhkina are given in a test format: the player chooses the correct option from several proposed answers. The correct answer means advancement in the scenario of the life of the heroine – Dasha Sharazhkina. A wrong answer means the end of the game and a bath in a pool of your own tears.
The goal is to answer all questions. The moral is not to repeat Dasha’s dramatic mistakes. In the process, enjoy the game.
The simulator “On the Bottom” in a light form reveals the coordinate system in which modern youth lives: patterns, stereotypes, semantic traps, fashion as a form of imitation, and rebellion as a form of protest. How to overcome the standards of behavior, imposed by the environment, and how to develop your own algorithm for a successful and self-sufficient personality – the player decides for himself. The game only makes it possible to look at yourself from the outside through the prism of humor.
