Pukk is a one-touch isometric runner that tells gamers about the adventures of a character in a world covered in snow and ice. Let’s start with the fact that the main character is presented in the form of a “tadpole”, since apart from the head he has no arms or legs. Since we have a runner in front of us, someone must pursue the main character, and in our case it is a huge polar bear on skates, however, it is quite difficult to understand the reason for such hostility, because the developers of the Itatake studio did not want to supply their novelty with a plot.
Directly active gameplay Pukk is preceded by customization of the character’s appearance – helmets, crowns, baseball caps, outlandish wigs, headphones, glasses, headbands, which the authors do not offer to put on the character’s head. True, initially accessories are available in limited quantities, and new ones are delivered in special wooden boxes for the successful completion of individual stages and the fulfillment of additional conditions. A feature of this runner is its mechanics, since the hero does not need to jump or move along three dedicated tracks, avoiding obstacles.
In the case of the character Pukk, he rolls along the ice chute, and the user can only use the button with acceleration, which will help the hero, if necessary, gain speed and thus bypass obstacles, as well as break ice blocks, boxes and others foreign objects on a makeshift skating rink. Although the gameplay is divided into levels, all of them are interconnected, and are separated only by the gate into which the character rolls after passing the previous stage.
