Merge Town! – casual puzzle game, the gameplay of which is implemented simultaneously in several genres, and none of them is predominant – a little bit of everything. The game in terms of design is devoid of any frills, but everything looks quite nice, primarily due to high-quality animation, complemented by cartoonish elements. Although the authors claim that the main goal of the project is to build your own prosperous city, as for us, this is just another timekiller with unhurried gameplay and without clearly defined goals.

Some gamers after running the application Merge Town! will decide that they have another kind of puzzle City 2048 and there really is some similarity, though only in terms of graphics. This is where the similarity ends, since you don’t need to think much in this game, you just need to deftly move your fingers, improving the available structures by combining buildings of the same type. At the bottom of the playing space there is a kind of box, which is gradually replenished from the successful actions of the players – by filling the container, the user will receive a new building, more bulky and modern, it will replace the small houses.

So, what is the main task of Merge Town! and how to get there faster? Everything happens on a field divided into cells, on which we have to combine identical structures with ordinary taps and swipes, thus pumping them and getting more luxurious houses at the output. Progress in the gameplay is almost limitless, so if at the first stages all manipulations occur with tiny shacks, then closer to the twentieth stage, the gamer will have to interact with entire cottages and mansions, and then skyscrapers are within easy reach.

There are no restrictions on the movement of game elements in Merge Town!, so we remind you once again, although it is declared in the puzzle genre, you practically don’t have to strain the gray matter of the brain. The only limit set by the authors is the time allotted for filling the box below, that is, for obtaining a new structure. It is this simplicity and monotony that negatively affects the replay value of the novelty from Gram Games Limited , after playing for fifteen minutes everything quickly gets boring, since there is nothing to strive for, just endless tapping on the screen, and sometimes even at an intuitive level. But, as a finger trainer, the project came out excellent!
