Fixies: City is an educational game for boys and girls from 3 to 5 years old. Children learn about the world around them not from the words of their parents, no matter how much they would like it, and not from empirical laws, but by taste, smell and touch. To protect children from sharp corners and hot objects, it is best to introduce children to the world around in the format of a game that can capture the imagination of children, hold their attention and will be remembered for a long time. It is these characteristics that correspond to a series of games about Fixies.
Fixies: City is a story about how Fixies save the city they live in from disorder and destruction. The city needs heroes. Without selfless heroes, the city will turn into stone ruins. But in order for the little heroes to cope with the game missions, they need the help of grown-up children.
The scenarios of the game consist of several mini-tasks, during which children learn to distinguish the main from the secondary, search and find objects, repair the city’s infrastructure, and much more. Each task to save the city is presented in the format of a mini-game:
- “Catching Bugs” – in this game you need to find, catch and put in a jar of insects that have scattered throughout the city;
- “Hide and Seek with Fixies” – in a dark dark room, with the help of a flashlight you need to find all the characters in the game;
- “Catch the Nipper” is a very hungry animal that has climbed into the kitchen and wants to eat all the food there. Kids need to save the kitchen from the invasion of gluttons!
- “Loading” – in this mini-game, children need to load goods from the platform onto transport wagons using a crane;
- “Clean up the mess.” The children’s room is a mess – each toy needs to find a socially designated place (fold the puzzle);
- “Electricity Leak” is an arcade game where children catch flying sparks.
- “Repair of the railway.” The train is coming. The railroad is broken. The player needs to repair the rails, send the train on the road so that its passengers arrive at their destination on time.
There are a lot of mini-games in the application, in which children learn to think logically and think creatively. All the complex concepts that describe the game are implemented in a language understandable for children – the language of games, fun and adventure!
