Ever Dungeon – randomized maps, global plot twists and turns about the eternal struggle between Light and Darkness, the gamer’s freedom to make any decisions, the bewitching atmosphere of dangerous dungeons and action-packed missions. This role-playing epic starts with a full-fledged training guide, without which any wrong step of the protagonist can become fatal and lead to his death. However, the character’s death does not put an end to the adventure – another attempt can be successful, but the hero will have to travel through a procedurally changed location, in other words, new corridors with a different set of turns, new dangers and problems await him.
It seems that the developers of Ever Dungeon set themselves the goal of making life as difficult as possible for the gamer, forcing his ward to start over again and again. And this is not an exaggeration, because there are a great many options for the death of a hero in locations – strong enemies of various types, deadly traps, labyrinth-like corridors leading to a dead end, disguised passages and enchanted objects. In addition, with an increase in the number of attempts, the situation does not change at all, which, as we have already said, is to blame for the random generation of dungeons.
It slightly improves the sad situation in the dangerous adventure Ever Dungeon the ability to improve the characteristics of the main character – role development has a powerful potential and only it will help to cope with all problems, destroy insidious enemies and eventually see the light at the end of the tunnel. All fans of vintage roguelikes can recommend the novelty – authentic gameplay, dangerous atmosphere and modern graphic design will certainly appeal to them.
