During the allotted time period, the user will have to establish and develop their virtual transport empire to the maximum, becoming a tycoon and the most influential person in this industry. Much can be achieved in a hundred years, so we urge you to roll up your sleeves, without unnecessary preambles and doubts, to immerse yourself in a complex but exciting gameplay.
On the streets of numerous cities there are tens of thousands of small shops and large shopping centers, manufacturing enterprises, financial and educational institutions. All these infrastructure facilities need developed logistics – shops need goods, schools cannot do without textbooks, and a new house cannot be built without appropriate materials. In addition, citizens are often forced to move from one point to another, visit different cities and countries. It is impossible to do without the creation of a well-structured and anticipating all desires transport network.
First, in the OpenTTD project, land transport should be mastered, so we are laying a highway and purchasing samples of the automotive industry. Then, as we accumulate capital and opportunities, we turn our attention to sea routes, build a dozen ports around the world, and buy cargo ships and cruise ships. It is impossible to quickly and comfortably get from one point of the globe to the opposite part without aviation – we build airports and replenish hangars with modern aircraft. As you can see, there is nothing complicated in this novelty, you just have to follow the logic and strive for continuous development!
