First Refuge: Z is a survival strategy for survivors of the zombie apocalypse. After the zombie virus broke free from the walls of a scientific laboratory, the world turned into a Wasteland in a matter of weeks. Surviving people gather in groups and build shelters, hoping that humanity still has a chance to be saved. The user will take control of one of these underground shelters.

The gameplay consists of two key elements, each of which is valuable in its own way for the success of the global plan. The user will have to rebuild and expand the underground fortress, gradually attaching other compartments to the command post – a bakery, a repair shop, storage facilities, living rooms, a garage, and so on. Each object should be improved as soon as possible in order to increase productivity or strengthen defenses.
