Synthesia is a functional and intuitive tutorial with which even beginners can quickly learn how to play musical instruments. The application provides two modes of use – the performance of a given composition or free play. Play one and a half hundred popular songs on the screen of your mobile device, import your favorite compositions in MIDI format into the application, create and record your own melodies.

Practice playing with both hands and each separately. The application automatically monitors the correctness of pressing the keys, and if it notices false notes, it will prompt the user to go through the lesson again. Adjust the speed of playing and falling multi-colored tiles, set the tempo of the metronome. The program does not limit the musician to only the piano, which is set in the stock version of the settings – switch to acoustic or electric guitar, organ, trombone, saxophone, violin, cello, and so on.
