Tilemaker

Tilemaker – an exciting application for those who feel creative potential in themselves, but do not have the opportunity to realize it to the fullest. Cognitive and applied program “Mosaic tiles” was sponsored by the Qatar Foundation QFI (Qatar Foundation International). It is a global community promoting close ties to the Arab world. Its task is to create unions between students and teachers, and effective learning processes taking place both in educational institutions and outside them are used as a connecting medium. The program involves students from Qatar, as well as other countries interested in intellectual, communicative and cultural competencies that allow building relationships between peoples.

The purpose of the application is to get acquainted with the architecture and geometry of the traditional finishing materials for the Islamic East – ceramic tiles, mosaics, tiles. Masterpiece mosaic art is part of the culture of Muslim countries.

The program in a popular presentation offers:

• to get acquainted with the history of mosaic art and architecture;
• to master the principles of constructing the geometry of a drawing;
• Create your own versions of Oriental-styled mosaics and tiles.

The interactive form of the learning process allows you to better master the proposed concepts, develop your own projects and share them using the Create Tool application. You can download Tilemaker and get creative by designing ornaments and creating oriental-style mosaic panels.
