Armed with the concept and popularity of the Minecraft free world, many developers began to slowly but purposefully occupy this promising gaming niche with their products. The guys from Noodlecake Studios Inc with their release The Blockheads were able to surprise even seasoned gamers – an impressive list of amazing features, an interesting concept, a painfully familiar pixel solution in graphic terms and an exploration of the endless two-dimensional universe.
The main character accidentally finds himself in a new world through a magical portal and he has only one way out – to go forward, build, fight and adapt. In the adventure project The Blockheads, the user still has to swing the usual pickaxe up to the seventh sweat, get food, useful resources, and so on. True, our ward does all this extremely slowly, but on the other hand, he has nowhere to hurry. The change in the time of day and weather conditions in the novelty is also fully implemented, which makes its own adjustments to the character’s well-being.
If the hero is full and calmly spent the night before, then he has plenty of strength – we move forward and collect all (inventory is provided for this), which may come in handy in the future. The creators of The Blockheads can be said to have outdone themselves – a professional approach to gameplay and mechanics, a convenient control system and gradually opening up new opportunities. Particularly pleased with the unusual two-dimensional graphics, contrasting with that of the founder of the genre. Be sure to install this novelty and look at the process of survival in the virtual world from a different angle, we could not find analogues of this product with all our desire!
