Toon Cup – aspiring football players from the cartoon universes Adventure Time, Ben 10, The Amazing World of Gumball, The Powerpuff Girls, Teen Titans Go!, We Bare Bears and Regular Show decided to take part in the world championship held at the newly opened modern stadium with a perfect lawn. Popular characters are already putting on knee socks and boots, after which they begin training, having previously been divided into teams consisting of three participants – a captain and a couple of ordinary athletes.
The stands are filled with fans rejoicing in anticipation of the sports festival, the referees are entering the field, and the first match is about to begin. Casual arcade game Toon Cup does not try to distinguish between characters from different cartoons, allowing the user to independently assemble a suitable composition. In addition, the rules in this game are interpreted in a free style, so sometimes there is real chaos and the end of the world on the field. But in general, passes, tackles, feints, hits and goals in the new product are implemented quite realistically, but this is done with a fair amount of humor and positivity.
The developers of Toon Cup are concerned about novice football players – the debut meeting is educational in nature, introducing the player to the course of action and reminding them of the features of the control system. What on-screen buttons to tap to interact with each athlete, how to make passes and generally maneuver the ball. Over time, the player will not only learn to masterly use sports equipment, but will also gain the necessary experience to move to a higher league, because competitions are not at all limited to home and friendly matches.
