XCIPTV – an application with which you can watch TV channels on Android smartphones, tablets and TVs via the Internet.
The software supports OTT technology, which assumes that the video signal from the content provider to the user’s device passes over the Internet, and without direct contact with the telecom operator, unlike the traditional IPTV service.

Three players are installed in the application:

1. ExoPlayer is an experimental player designed to speed up video loading. The technology is borrowed from the Youtube service.
2. VLC media player is a cross-platform media player that runs on most modern operating systems and mobile platforms such as iOS, Android, Windows 10 Mobile and Tizen.
3. HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) is an HTTP-based video streaming communication protocol.

The application also supports Catch Up technology, which solves the following problem.
As a rule, television broadcasts do not coincide with the stated start time of TV programs, and therefore they, television programs, require additional synchronization as the TV programs go on the air. The Catch Up service plays the role of an EPG program guide that eliminates the need to “rewind” the TV timecode to find the start of the selected show.

XCIPTV Features:

• This app does not contain its own video or TV content. This software only gives access to third-party content sources. Which source to turn to is up to you. The application presents TV channels in completely different genres. You can add your favorite TV channels to the playlist of preferred channels.
• The application supports many languages.
