SystemUI Tuner – a special menu, deliberately hidden by some developers of mobile Android devices from the eyes of an ordinary user, with the help of which the appearance of the Green Robot interface is configured, such as working with icons displayed in the status bar, ordering behavior device in Do Not Disturb mode, expanding or minimizing the capabilities of the notification system, adding new tiles to the status bar, and so on.
Many popular developers, such as Samsung, LG and others, intend to block access to such advanced functionality, but fortunately, there were craftsmen who released a similar third-party application. The program functions freely both on devices with “superuser” rights and on devices without them, however, in the second case, the product installation process will be a little longer and more complicated. So, if you think that your knowledge is enough to work with the SystemUI Tuner system utility, then feel free to download it.
After installation, a “quick start” is shown and the features of the application are listed. If the mobile device has root rights, then the installation and activation of the program is completed in an automatic format. Otherwise, the user will have to independently enter special adb commands, for which the smartphone or tablet will need to be connected via a USB cable to the computer, as well as download a package called Google Platform Tools. If desired, detailed instructions with a step-by-step indication of all the steps can be easily found on the Internet, so we will not consider this within the framework of this review.
